Sophie and Ava are home!

On July 21st just before midnight, we brought home Sophie and Ava. Since we were all done with the flu, the plan was to bring home all three girls on Tuesday. But at around 2pm we got a call from the NICU saying that Jocelyn had some blood in her stool. Since colitis can be serious in some cases, they stopped feeding her and started an IV so that her tummy would not get more irritated. They did some bloodwork and x rays and fortunately everything came back normal. She has been doing much better, and the doctors think that it is a milk protein allergy since they ran out of breastmilk the day before and had started formula. So if all goes well she should be able to come home tomorrow.

It has been so great having two of the girls home. And honestly it has not been too hard, we'll see what happens when we throw the third one in the mix! This has been such a long road and I am so excited to have the whole family together at home soon. Gotta go, someone is crying. I will post some more pictures soon.
